About BibleSlides

Built for pastors by pastors who preach every week.

The person behind the product

I'm Jason Wolin. I pastor and teach Scripture, and I built BibleSlides because I was tired of fighting generic slide tools on Sunday morning. I serve at Cypress Bible Church in Cypress, Texas. Above job titles or hobby cred, I'm a follower of Jesus Christ—that's the center of who I am.

BibleSlides isn't a faceless startup pitch. It's the tool I wanted in the study and in the auditorium: verse-first workflows, readable typography for the room, maps and media that stay with the text, and tablet presenting that doesn't feel like an IT project.

Curious about the rest of the story—the messy, fun side? Personal projects & hobbies (EV Beetle, flying, remodeling, maker contests, family life, and more).

Education & training

Formal study in Scripture, biblical languages, and pastoral ministry—the foundation behind how BibleSlides is built and taught from.

Why BibleSlides Exists

Most presentation tools were built for business decks, not for teaching Scripture. I kept juggling multiple apps: one for verse slides, another for maps, another for handouts—and wrestling with sync, fonts, and “which file was the latest?” BibleSlides started as me trying to fix that: a single platform built from the ground up for how I actually prepare and present. Every feature is there to save you time and keep the focus on the text, not the tech.

A Disruptive, Timesaving Flow

What makes BibleSlides disruptive isn't a single gimmick—it's the end-to-end flow I kept building toward. You create once on the web: verse-by-verse reveals, 3D Bible maps, timelines, harmony views, and media. Everything saves automatically and syncs to every device. When it's time to preach, you open the slideshow on the big screen, scan a QR code with your iPad or Android tablet, and your tablet becomes the remote. Speaker notes stay on your device; slides go to the room. No USB sticks, no “which version,” no last-minute reformatting. The same tool that helped you study is the one you present with.

That flow is intentional. I wanted to cut the steps between preparation and presentation. Less time on slides means more time in the text and with your people. After preaching with it week after week, I stopped thinking about the software—I just open it, build my content, and show up ready to teach.

Built for How You Actually Teach

Along the way I kept adding what generic slide tools don't: native Bible verse slides with multiple translations and verse-by-verse reveal, 3D animated Bible maps and flyovers, harmony of the Gospels views, sentence diagrams, cross-references, markup on slides, and security team messaging so techs can reach the presenter without flashing alerts on the main screen.

Licensed Bible text, auto-save, cloud sync, stock imagery, 3D models, and themes built for readability—it's designed to stay out of your way.

Built From Weekly Preaching

BibleSlides wasn't dreamed up in a generic product lab. I preach every week and got tired of the same friction: lost slides, mismatched devices, and tools that weren't built for Scripture. Every decision—from how verse reveals work to how the tablet connects to the slideshow—comes from real Sunday-morning use. When I add a feature or change a flow, it's because it made my own prep and presenting faster and clearer.

Who It's For

I built BibleSlides for pastors, associate pastors, teaching elders, small-group leaders, and anyone who teaches Scripture regularly and wants their presentation tool to get out of the way—whether you preach verse-by-verse, teach topical series, or lead Bible studies.
