- Content you create, upload, or store using the Service (presentations, slides, images, text)

- Communications with us (support requests, feedback)
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device information (device type, operating system, browser or app version)

- Log data (IP address, access times, error logs)
- On our website: cookies and similar tracking technologies
When you use our mobile apps, we and the apps may store data on your device (for example, presentation data and thumbnails for offline use). That locally stored data is used to provide offline access and is not used for tracking across apps or sites.

- Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

- Send you marketing communications (with your consent), including SMS when you provide a mobile number and opt in
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting and data storage (Firebase / Google Cloud), authentication (including Google and Apple Sign-In), read-only YouTube Data API access when a campus admin connects a church channel (Google), SMS delivery providers when you opt in to text messages, and, on our website, analytics to improve the Service. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.

5. Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Firebase (Google Cloud Platform). We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request access to your personal information

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services for authentication (Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple). When you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers receive your sign-in information and are governed by their own privacy policies. Our Service may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
8.1 YouTube Integration (Campus plans)
On Campus subscriptions, an authorized campus admin may connect your church's YouTube channel to BibleSlides using Google OAuth. This connection is optional. Campus teachers can use the connected channel without signing in to Google separately. Any user can still paste a public YouTube video URL manually without connecting a channel.
Scope and use. We request read-only access to YouTube through Google's API (youtube.readonly). We use this access only to:
- Confirm which channel is connected (name, ID, and thumbnail)
- List recent public uploads from that channel (title, description, publish date, thumbnail, and watch URL)
- Let presenters attach a selected upload as a presentation intro video
We do not upload videos, edit channel settings, manage comments, access private YouTube account data unrelated to the connected channel, or use YouTube data for advertising or resale.
Data stored. If a campus admin connects YouTube, we store OAuth tokens and channel metadata (including channel ID, channel title, channel thumbnail URL, and uploads playlist ID) in Firebase (Google Cloud) on your campus subscription record. We do not store full video files from YouTube.
Disconnecting. A campus admin can disconnect YouTube at any time in Campus admin → YouTube. You can also revoke BibleSlides' access in your Google Account permissions. After disconnect, we delete stored YouTube OAuth tokens for that campus connection.
YouTube is provided by Google. Your use of YouTube through BibleSlides is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
11. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
12. European Privacy Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal information.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
